This May 7th, our beautiful Lindsay, would/should have been celebrating her 40th Birthday. But that was not to be. She was robbed of her life and the chance to see her precious boys grow up, and we were robbed of her, by a heinous disease, Cystic Fibrosis. Four years ago she died after her last valiant fight. She left behind a legacy of love and advocacy, and two little boys who adored their Mama. She was a fierce warrior in the battle against this disease that devastatingly had already taken her 2 beloved sisters, Kelly & Rosie. Lindsay was the one who organized and rallied our team annually to raise money for the cure through CFF Great Strides. She poured her heart and soul into this effort. She put herself out there sharing her story, her triumphs and her struggles, hoping for the cure. It did not come in time for her, but hopefully it will come in time for her beloved brother Dillon, and his beautiful wife Cassandra, who both share this disease, and so many other precious ones still waging this battle. Nothing would be more meaningful to her than to continue to be a part of fighting for the cure. So in celebration of her 40th Birthday and to remember and honor our Lindsay we launch her annual fundraising effort in her place. We hope you will find it in your heart to be a part of our/her effort for the cure. May CF stand for Cure Found one day very soon. All donations are welcomed and deeply appreciated.
