To honor my Mother's memory, I am raising funds to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the search for a cure. My Mom was an amazing woman who left a legacy of love, happiness and kindness. She was a wonderful role model to her family and friends. She lived a life filled with grace and gratitude, always giving to others joyfully and extending the hand of friendship to everyone in her path. She was a shining light, a beautiful soul that touched and moved many hearts. All who knew her will miss her in the days, months and years ahead. But please know, that her tender heart lives on in the many lives she touched and inspired. While she gave to many earthly causes, her primary charity was the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She lived with the hope that we would turn the letters ‘CF’ into the words ‘Cure Found.’ But, while that didn’t happen in her lifetime, she remained committed to the good work that the CF Foundation is doing on behalf of her granddaughter, Shelby, and the 30,000 young adults and children in the United States living with this life-shortening disease.
