In Honor of Linda — Ascent For Action 2027
In 1973, I lost my little sister, Linda, after her courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
As a little girl, Linda faced CF with grace, remarkable strength, courage, and perseverance. To honor her life and legacy, I am turning my memory of her loss into action.
In 2027, I will climb Mount Kilimanjaro as part of Ascent For Action 2027, a personal fundraising effort created to honor and support the fight against cystic fibrosis.
The climb will be physically and mentally demanding—a small reflection of the courage and endurance required by those facing terminal disease every day.
This journey began as a to honor my late wife, Trish and later expanded to honor my late sister (Linda) and late brother (Kevin) who also lost battles to devastating terminal diseases (cystic fibrosis and lung cancer).
I’m climbing for Linda—to honor her remarkable life, remember her strength, and help create a future with less CF.
