The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has unrestricted financial reserves of about 11 times its 2025 operating budget. These reserves are largely a result of the Foundation's successful venture philanthropy model, through which we have raised and invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help discover and develop breakthrough CF therapies. These funds and any future revenue from our model are reinvested into the CF Foundation's mission to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives. The Deanda Family is offering a $170,000 match for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s 2025 National Mail Program. Beginning October 6, 2025, donations received in response to the Supporter Card campaign in the amount of $1 to $9,999 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $170,000 by December 31, 2025, or when the match is complete, whichever comes first. Donations received in excess of the match will be used to support the CF Foundation’s mission.
