Your donation helps advance the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has unrestricted financial reserves of about 13 times its 2026 operating budget. These reserves are largely a result of the Foundation's successful venture philanthropy model, through which we have raised and invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help discover and develop breakthrough CF therapies. These funds and any future revenue from our model are reinvested into the CF Foundation's mission to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives. United in their shared dream of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis, a generous group of donors including Bart Barthelemy, Bob Boncella, The Chandler Family, The D’Amato Family Foundation, Kent and Kathy Duncan, The Fred A. Lennon Charitable Trust, Ron Long, Sharla Michael, Mike and Sandy Palmer, Steve Park, Dale and Kathy Perdue, Arlene and Steve Senser and three anonymous donors, have come together to announce a $270,500 match opportunity for the Midwest Area including: Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio and Northern Kentucky!

Beginning July 1 through December 31, 2026, new or increased donations in support of the Annual Fund ($1 - $9,999) campaigns in the Illinois, Indiana, Kansas (Heart of America), Missouri (Gateway) Northern Ohio, and Central Ohio Chapters will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $270,500, or when the match is completed, whichever comes first. Donations received in excess of the matching goal of $270,500 will be used to support the CF Foundation's mission.
