You guessed it! It’s that time of year when I ask family and friends for donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our grandson George was diagnosed with CF at two weeks old. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disorder that causes severe damage to the lungs and digestive system. There is no cure for this horrible disease.

George (aka: Super George) is turning 8 years old in October. George bravely fights CF everyday thanks to the medications, breathing treatments and our excellent pulmonary team.

The progress that George has made is due to the CF Foundation. The research and dedication of the foundation to find new treatments, medications, and breakthrough drugs like Trikafta make us want to continue raising funds to make CF stand for Cure Found.

Our family has been involved with the foundation since George was born. Team Super George has raised over $280,000 for the CF Foundation and we are forever grateful for the family and friends who have joined our quest for a cure.

We have joined with other generous donors to create an Annual Fund Challenge and we hope to reach our goal by December 31^st. If you can help in any way we appreciate your kindness.
