Hello Everyone,
16 years ago our Lyla was diagnosed at birth with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and we are thrilled to report she is thriving. Over the last 16 years Lyla has completed 11k+ nebulizer treatments, taken 150,000+ pills, and sat through 200,000+ minutes of respiratory treatments. By adhering to her treatments and leaning into an active healthy lifestyle Lyla has taken the right steps to maintain her overall health. From a very young age Lyla fell in love with swimming and her consistent exercising has helped her to maintain excellent lung function and overall health. She is a distance swimmer who pushes the boundaries for training. We hope we can build off her commitment to the sport by inspiring others living with CF and fundraise to support the CF community. We are swimming to support other families living with Cystic Fibrosis and in turn raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
