Maybe you've noticed that the official colors of the CF Foundation are blue and yellow, but when the Foundation is REALLY serious about something they go with PURPLE.  So I decided to make PURPLE the theme of my 2025 campaign to raise money for the CFF Annual Fund.  The task is an urgent one . . . we are VERY close to conquering this disease, and Rose is doing her part by participating in a gene therapy trial that has produced some promising results.  Meanwhile civilization itself seems like it is in turmoil -- so more than ever we need the CFF to be there, fighting for the public policy and government agencies we need (e.g., National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration).  Please join me in supporting this important work.

YES if you donate here between now and April 30 it DEFINITELY counts toward the matching fund generously donated by Rose's mother, my former spouse. She does a fabulous job being Rose's supportive mom and, yes! Make her pay!

We were bad! We snuck Rose and her boyfriend Matthew into the skiing part of the Ski for a Cure event at Bretton Woods. (Typically only one PwCF is allowed at any one indoor event of the CF Foundation. So, Rose had to skip the banquet.)

Ski for a Cure '2025 at Bretton Woods and the Omni Mount Washington Hotel -- what an adventure!

The best pediatric CF care center directors in the business: Dr. Brian O'Sullivan of Dartmouth and Dr. Greg Sawicki of Boston Children's. Both have helped care for Rose -- we are grateful for their skill and their friendship.

Here's the picture that inspired me to make this year's campaign about "purple."

Monday was the annual volunteer appreciation dinner of our chapter of the CF Foundation. Every year there's one CF Ambassador -- just a single person with CF (because of infection control protocols) who gets to say a few words of inspiration. This year the honor went to Rose -- and she aced the assignment. Check it out: https://www.facebook.com/114434/videos/2081478755625894/
