It is true that Steve and I did not expect to have Sam and Libby living today. Newly discovered drugs (that your generosity has helped fund) have changed our lives in spectacular ways. With tears in our eyes, we celebrate these breakthroughs every single day.
 

And, CF never goes away.
 

CF's complex genetic impact differs from person to person. It can affect the thyroid, elevate cancer risk, and compromise pancreatic function. Sam and Libby have managed new health conditions this last year even though their lungs are the healthiest they have ever been.
 

There are many CF patients living today for whom these miracle drugs don’t work. We can only imagine how the families of these individuals suffer every day.
 

The army of scientists who brought life-changing drugs like Trikafta must work even harder to cure CF in Sam and Libby's lifetime. They must also find a treatment for CF patients whose genetics don't respond to current CF medications. We ask that you stay with us in our fight until it's done.
