Hello Family and Friends,
Thank you for your donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Patrick's Posse. Your generosity will give me fuel to finish the 7.1 mile "virtual" Falmouth Road Race on August 15th!
My brother Rick and I started running this race and fundraising for CF in 2001 (yikes!), when Patrick was 10 months old. Patrick's diagnosis was scary and shocking. Life expectancy back then suggested that attending college was not a given for Patrick. Today, life expectancy for people with CF is in the mid-40s. Still not acceptable but advancements in research are heading us towards a cure!
The drug Trikafta has improved Patrick's health and enabled him to have the college experience he deserves. Trikafta would not have been possible without your support. You have had a direct impact on Patrick's life and others with CF. On behalf of the Massman and O'Donnell families, we simply cannot thank you enough.
The Posse has grown over the years - with many family, friends and even Patrick himself running the Falmouth Road Race. I hope my 21st race will be my last. Not just because they don't get any easier year after year, but more importantly because a cure for CF is found! Your donation today may get us there. Thank you again for your generosity. It gives us hope for Patrick's future.
