It is hard to put into words how grateful I am for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Since our first fundraiser in 1989 my family has been raising money in the hopes that my life wouldn't be cut short. It is because of that fundraising effort, along with the cf researchers that I am living the incredible and healthy life I have today. Welcoming my daughter Dottie in June of 2023 was truly a miracle, and I am cherishing every moment. 

Trikafta has transformed my life in ways I never thought possible. I pinch myself everyday that I was given this second chance, but the work is not done. There are still people with cf that do not have a treatment option, and while Trikafta is a blessing it is not a cure. Cf has claimed the lives of far too many, and I will honor them by never taking my life for granted, and by continuing to fundraise until cf stands for cure found.
