Addie is fourteen and has cystic fibrosis (CF), a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. As of today, there is no cure and life expectancy is only 41. We will do anything to make sure she and all of those with this disease live a long and healthy life.
But Addie is not just a child with a disease. She is in 8th grade and loves her friends, dog, two kitties and fish. She is a true animal lover and wants to be an animal behaviorist and zoologist. She loves to swim and roller skate, hike and ride her bike as fast as she possibly can! If you have ever met her, you are instantly aware of her dry sense of humor and witty personality. Addie is so loved by her friends, family and fur babies and we want to make sure she continues to live this life of full throttle activity, humor and health.
Please consider making a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as they are committed to find a cure for all of those with CF. We truly cannot do it without you.
Thank you. -Addie's Mama, Elise Free
