Hi, I’m Claire, and I’m in 8th grade. I’m a goalkeeper for the IFA 2011s. Soccer is my favorite sport, but I also play hockey, baseball, basketball, and American Ninja Warrior. I love learning new things, and my favorite subjects are math and science. This summer, I went to Treetop Adventures in Canton, MA, and did the Black Diamond course 2 times with my sister, Reese. It was challenging but super fun! This summer, I also did some pick-up hockey, summer softball, and a few sports camps. I can do all these things because of Trikafta. I’m in a research study that is researching the newest version of the drug. I started Trikafta 3 years ago, and since then, I haven’t had any PICC lines, and I’ve been able to keep up with my teammates better during games. Trikafta has really improved my life and the lives of so many other people with CF.
I want to thank everyone, and especially Wentworth Women's Soccer, for supporting our efforts to continue funding groundbreaking research in the search for a cure.
