Thanks to the generosity of Michelle Andrew and Anthony Ferguson, Tim and Jody Carlson, Jim and Jeanne Mott, Beth and Greg Myers, Angie Olsonawski , Jerry and Patricia Wagner and a few anonymous donors, a $130,000 matching gift opportunity has been established. We are also grateful to FMNE for their support of our annual fund campaign and commitment to advancing the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Beginning August 17, 2026, all gifts of $1-$9,999 in support of the Iowa, Michigan/NW Ohio, Minnesota/Dakotas, Nebraska, Rocky Mountain, Utah/Idaho and Wisconsin Chapters' Annual Fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $130,000 through September 13, 2026, or until the match is completed, whichever comes first. Donations received in excess of the matching goal will support the CF Foundation's mission.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has unrestricted financial reserves of about 13 times its 2026 operating budget. These reserves are largely a result of the Foundation's successful venture philanthropy model, through which we have raised and invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help discover and develop breakthrough CF therapies. These funds and any future revenue from our model are reinvested into the CF Foundation's mission to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives.
